By using WashWash, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Platform Role
WashWash is a technology platform that connects customers with independent service providers. Unless otherwise stated, WashWash is not the direct provider of the services listed on the platform.
Refund eligibility may depend on the circumstances of each booking and the policies of the service provider. WashWash reserves the right to review and determine refund requests fairly based on available evidence.
2. Full Refund Eligibility
You may qualify for a full refund if:
- The service provider cancels your booking.
- Your payment was charged more than once for the same booking.
- The booked service cannot be provided due to provider unavailability.
- The service cannot be completed because of a verified technical issue on the WashWash platform.
- A payment was successfully made but no booking was created.
Approved refunds will be returned into your wallet account ,Which can be use to book services on our platform.
3. Partial Refund Eligibility
A partial refund may be granted if:
- The service was only partially completed.
- The completed service significantly differs from what was advertised.
- Both customer and provider mutually agree to a partial refund.
- Additional charges were applied incorrectly.
WashWash may request photos, videos, chat messages, invoices, or other supporting evidence before making a decision.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds generally will not be issued when:
- You change your mind after the provider has begun the service.
- You fail to attend the scheduled appointment.
- Incorrect booking information was provided by you.
- You refuse service after the provider has already arrived without a valid reason.
- The complaint relates to personal preference rather than a failure to deliver the agreed service.
- The request is made after the allowed refund request period.
A "change of mind" alone does not normally create a refund entitlement, while services not delivered as agreed may justify one.
5. Customer Cancellation
Customers may cancel bookings subject to the following:
- More than 24 hours before the scheduled service: Eligible for a full refund (excluding non-refundable payment processing fees, if applicable).
- Less than 24 hours before the appointment: A cancellation fee may apply.
- After the provider has started travelling or performing the service: Refunds may not be available.
6. Provider Cancellation
If a provider cancels a confirmed booking:
- The customer will receive a full refund.
- Customers may choose to rebook another available provider.
- Repeated provider cancellations may result in account penalties or suspension.
7. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Submit your request through your WashWash account or contact Customer Support.
- Include:
- Booking ID
- Payment receipt
- Description of the issue
- Photos or videos (if applicable)
- WashWash will review the request.
- Both customer and provider may be contacted for additional information.
- A decision will normally be provided within 5–10 business days.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once approved, refunds are typically processed as follows:
- E-Wallet: 1–3 business days
- GCash, Maya, and supported Banks : 2–7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 5–10 business days
Actual processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
9. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may submit additional supporting information within 14 days of the decision.
WashWash will conduct one final review, and the resulting decision will be considered final unless otherwise required by applicable law.
10. Fraud Prevention
WashWash reserves the right to deny refunds if we determine that:
- False or misleading information has been submitted.
- Fraudulent activity is suspected.
- The platform has been intentionally abused.
- Chargebacks have been initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter through WashWash.
Accounts involved in fraudulent refund activity may be suspended or permanently terminated.
11. Payment Processing Fees
Certain third-party payment processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law and payment provider policies.
12. Policy Updates
WashWash may modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
